It's summer and the kid(s) are home. I take this time to get creative with my son's learning while we're both home for the summer. This also means I revisit my Pinterest boards. 😁 That's how I came across a Fruity Pebbles Popsicle recipe! Science+Yummy snack=BINGO.

The recipe calls for only 3 ingredients. Before I list them, let me explain that I subbed one of the ingredients to make it more healthy. You can do this with other options such as almond milk, Ensure, etc. Ā I will also "rant" here with the fact that cereal, as a general statement, is not a healthy food choice. We don't buy it, we don't eat it in our house and we view cereal as an equivalent to consuming candy for breakfast.Ā

With that being said, it's okay to eat it in moderation šŸ˜‰

The recipe calls for:

šŸ„›1.5 cups Greek yogurt (my preference is Chobani-it's high in protein)

šŸ„›3/4 cup milk (I subbed for Vanilla EAS protein smoothie)

šŸ„›3/4 cup Fruity Pebbles

It was super simple to do, it falls under science early learning guidelines and most important-IT WAS FUN.Ā

My son is 3. He thoroughly enjoyed making these. We let them freeze during the day and they were frozen by snack time in the afternoon. He ate it all!
